Artist Forrest Frank and Texas pastor and author JP Pokluda recently shared the gospel in a sold-out stadium.
“We have an opportunity tonight to potentially give the Lord Jesus the loudest praise in the entire day,” Frank said. “We got 20,000 believers in here. Can we give Jesus the loudest praise in the entire day?”
After singing some of his hits like “Good Day” and “Jesus Generation,” Frank stopped to share his testimony of faith.
“I’ve tried everything,” he said while seated alone at a white piano before performing “No Longer Bound.” “I’ve tried the world. I’ve tried to satiate myself in every way. I tried to fill this void in myself for years in every direction.”
After searching, he found that Jesus is the only answer to the hole that was in his soul.
“We keep trying things. We keep thinking that something’s going to satisfy us,” he said. “But every time we fall down until we finally come home, which is the place of Jesus.”
The concert also featured songs with Chris Tomlin, Tori Kelly, Cory Asbury and The Figs. Towards the end, Pokluda, the pastor at Harris Creek Baptist Church in Waco, Texas, preached about how the gospel presents salvation as a gift, rather than something that has to be earned.

“If they stopped you and they said, ‘Why should we let you in?’ you would say, ‘Because I have a ticket,'” he said as an example. “And if they said, ‘Did you pay for the ticket?’ you’d say, ‘No, it was a gift to me.'”
The concert, held in Louisville, Kentucky, set the record for the second-largest attended concert in the KFC Yum! Center’s history with over 20,400 attendees. It is the largest since Metallica’s record of more than 23,000 fans in March 2019, Crosswalk reported.
Frank’s biggest crowd was at RODEOHOUSTON in March. He performed in front of over 70,000 attendees.
The Texas native said at the time, “This was huge, I grew up in Fulshear so [RODEOHOUSTON] is like the Super Bowl for our town. Extremely honored to do it and bring glory to the Lord through it.”
In 2024, Frank won the GMA Dove Award for New Artist of the year.
“This is just all for Him and everything I do is for the Lord,” he said in his acceptance speech.
He says his songs come from God, and they miraculously relate with listeners.
“And if he shuts it off and doesn’t give me any more songs, then that is cool. And if he continues to bless it, that’s great,” Frank said.
Frank just finished his Jesus Generation tour and doesn’t have anything else scheduled for the time being.
