The Story

Found by Jake Russell, owner of a struggling lodge, Sierra stays with Jake and his family while she tries to discover who she is. Living outside her pampered lifestyle may teach her—and Tad—some unexpected lessons.
Is It Any Good?
Three stars means a pleasant, enjoyable movie with noticeable limitations. The Christmas settings are gorgeous, and the sweet, heartfelt tone keeps the story moving. The combination of silliness, warmth, and predictability works well for families and romantic-comedy fans.
The production quality is lacking on the filmmaking side, and the plot resembles many other Christmas movies available on cable television and streaming services. Its main novelty is Lindsay Lohan’s return to movies after a decade away. This is comfortable holiday entertainment rather than ambitious filmmaking.
