What You Need To Know
The final episode of Season One of DAREDEVIL is simply titled “Daredevil.” It opens with a funeral of one of the main good guys. Foggy, Karen and Matt find enough evidence for the FBI to arrest Fisk, the crime lord, but it results in a final showdown between Fisk and the man in the mask. Meanwhile, the press finally gives the hero the name Daredevil. The final episode of the first DAREDEVIL season is a little anti-climatic compared to some of the previous episodes, but the final confrontation between Daredevil and Fisk is exciting. It includes some impressive, riveting action sequences. The season ends on a good note, with Matt choosing not to compromise his morals by killing Fisk. Meanwhile, the legal authorities are able to prosecute Fisk and the corrupt officials he had in his pocket. It’s a fresh take on the hero, but refreshingly old-fashioned in values. A caution is still advised for some intense and bloody violence, and some foul language. That said, DAREDEVIL remains one of the best, most consistently good superhero series on TV, whether Network, Cable or Digital Streaming.
