As NFL teams post hype videos on social media in preparation for the upcoming season, the Jacksonville Jaguars shared a message of faith as they began their training camp.

The Jaguars are led by Christian quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who puts his football career third behind his faith and family.
“No matter what happens, I have my foundation,” Lawrence said on the “Faith on the Field” podcast in 2023. “I know who I am…I don’t put everything into how I perform. I’m going to do everything I can to prepare and play the best I can and be ready every day. But at the end of the day, if I don’t have a great day, I’ve got to know who I am outside of the game.”

He believes his talents are God-given.
“I don’t think anyone has abilities for no reason. I don’t think anything is a coincidence,” he told Sports Illustrated. “God gave me these things for a reason, not just talent on the field, but other opportunities to be a light to people.”
After the Jaguars lost the playoff game against Kansas City, Lawrence expressed his gratitude to the fans.
“I really felt the city come to life,” he wrote in The Players Tribune after several games of come-from-behind victories. “There was this energy in the air. The beach had a buzz. Downtown was alive. Even Publix felt a part of it. I don’t think people realize how die-hard our fans are — how much Jags fans love this team, and how hungry they are for a winner. They just want us to be great. They want to get there. I felt that.”
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sticking with us. For believing in us. We couldn’t have done it without you,” he added.
Another Jags player who isn’t afraid to put his faith on display is kicker Cam Little, who set an NFL record last season when he kicked a 68-yard field goal against the Las Vegas Raiders.
“I feel great,” he told the Jaguars media team on the field after the game. “Thank You, Lord, for giving me that opportunity.”
“This organization — from top to bottom, from front office to coaching staff to players — has instilled so much confidence in me through adversity, really for the first time in my career, that I’ve faced,” he shared later on in the press conference. “So, I think when I really sit back and think about it, they let me know how much confidence they have in me, it’s forever indebted [me] to this place.
From Trevor Lawrence’s grounded faith to Cam Little’s record-breaking gratitude, the Jaguars are entering training camp with a foundation built on more than just football.
