Jonathan Scott just announced another solo project — but what does that mean for his partnership with renovation partner and brother Drew Scott?

“I get so many questions from homeowners wanting to renovate but feeling totally lost,” Jonathan told PEOPLE. “They’re usually worried about the same things: contractors, timelines, budgets, design, and honestly, just having no idea where to start.”

All those questions are getting answered with his latest book, The Ultimate Renovation Planner and Organizer.

“This planner is the next best thing to having me there in person,” he explained. “It’ll guide them through the entire process with helpful, easy-to-understand info that’ll boost confidence and get anybody ready to knock down some walls — or at least, offer tips on how to find the right pro to do it.”

Jonathan is also set to host a talk show for CBS, titled BETTER! WITH JONATHAN SCOTT. The pilot episode was filmed earlier this summer and will be considered by the network for the fall 2027 schedule.

“The talk show will feature interview segments with well-known guests and other lifestyle experts. CBS Media Ventures said it would ‘inspire audiences with fresh ideas to live better, all while having fun doing it,’” Deadline reported.

So, what does this mean for his working partnership with Drew?

The pair just wrapped a season of PROPERTY BROTHERS: UNDER PRESSURE and have continued working together on popular shows like CELEBRITY IOU, CHASING THE WEST and DON’T HATE YOUR HOUSE.

The brothers have talked about working together, and apart, and how they juggle their projects.

“It’s funny how so many people think twins have to be together, have to do everything together. Some people don’t even see us as individuals, which — it’s just funny to us,” Drew told TODAY. “But we love working together. I think we learn a lot individually. We also learn a lot when we’re together.”

Additionally, Drew has been open about his desire to prioritize his family, including son Parker and daughter Piper.

“Balance with family is very important,” he said in an Instagram video. “It’s a small thing but for me to be present there, I can see it in Piper’s face, she gets excited. And for me, it’s heartwarming and I love it. But if I was just to be in my busy, busy work pace, I would do calls over my lunch and I would skip that. Then all of a sudden I would look back years from now and think I missed these crucial points in my baby’s life.”

Jonathan might be stepping out on his own professionally, but the Scott brothers’ bond is stronger than ever.
