HELP! I WRECKED MY HOUSE star Jasmine Roth recently got candid on social media.
“I’ve recently been thinking a lot about productivity culture and how much it shapes my self worth,” she wrote. “…I want to make sure I don’t pass along this mindset to my daughters, but I also want to make sure my girls understand the importance of being driven, having goals, and the value of hard work.”
Roth is 41 and pregnant with her third daughter. She’s already mom to 6-year-old Hazel and almost-2-year-old Darla.
Roth added, “I worry that since we’re older parents to our kids, they sorta missed the whole ‘head down and hustle hard’ phase, and while they see us still work really hard, they definitely don’t feel the pressure to succeed that we had in our 30s.”
In the comment section, her fans reassured her that children are a blessing no matter how old their parents are when they’re born and can still benefit from their parents after the hard work phase.
Roth struggled to get pregnant with her second daughter and previously shared that she was shocked that she easily and quickly got pregnant with her third, who is expected to arrive before the end of the year.

A few months ago, she said she loves her job on HGTV.
“I wouldn’t trade it for anything! Being a working mom means getting to do what I love and showing my girls what it’s like to work hard,” she said.
Earlier this year, she told PEOPLE she was about to go on a family snowboarding trip to Japan when she thought she should maybe take a pregnancy test.
“And sure enough, it was positive. The lines were super faint, but they were there. I was completely shocked and instantly emotional,” said Roth.
She had to get medical intervention in order to have Darla. So she and her husband Brett were both very shocked.
“Having two kids already, we both know how much adding another baby changes everything, and I’ll never forget that moment of realizing together, ‘Okay…this is really happening,'” continued Roth. “There’s nothing else like that feeling.”
It seemed very “ambitious” to go on a snowboarding trip while pregnant, so Roth cancelled the trip. She soon began to be nauseous every day, so that may have been a good decision.
She said, “But more than anything, we’re so excited to meet this baby and welcome what feels like the final piece of our family…Although I think I may have said that after each child!”
