Pop Christian artist Tauren Wells is excited for you to hear his new album.

“I’m so excited about my new album Here Comes the Church. I just think there’s nothing more beautiful than what God said He would build with His own hands — His church,” Wells said in a new Instagram video.

God takes our “broken” pieces and puts them back together, and that’s what the album is about. Wells said every song is from his heart.

“It was incredible to have so many friends involved from the writing of the songs to the creation of the album, the art, the video,” he explained.

The album was recorded live with Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Naomi Raine, Paul and Hannah McClure, Tiffany Hudson, Hulvey, Abbie Gamboa and Todd Galberth. The tracklist features 17 songs. He hopes that listeners enjoy the album and are reminded of God’s church.

“Recording these songs live was SO powerful and wouldn’t have been possible without these ⬆️ LEGENDS!” Wells wrote of his guest singers on the record.

The album comes out on Oct. 2, and he says it’s for everyone, regardless of their background or genre preference.

“This isn’t just a gospel album, a Spanish-language album, a black album, or a white album,” shared Wells. “Of course, we can’t cover it all, but the record is an expression of my goal to draw everyone out of the little worlds that we separately exist in and into a place of unity.”
