The Story
NO SPOILERS — WE KEEP THE SURPRISESPete Monash manages a Piggly Wiggly in rural West Virginia and quietly loves Rosalee, his best friend and co-worker. Rosalee, however, adores movie star Tad Hamilton. When Tad’s wholesome image suffers bad publicity, his manager creates a dating contest—and Rosalee wins.
Tad travels to Rosalee’s hometown to pursue her, forcing Pete to compete with a handsome Hollywood idol for the woman he loves.
