What You Need To Know

SNOOPY PRESENTS: THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME, SNOOPY is an animated special streaming on Apple TV+. Snoopy’s life turns upside down when Lucy accidentally sells his beloved doghouse during a garage sale organized by Charlie Brown and Lucy. Heartbroken, Snoopy and Charlie Brown, the world’s greatest detectives, embark on a quest to find the red doghouse and discover what truly matters along the way.

This animated special captures the innocence of the original PEANUTS comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, introducing iconic characters to a modern generation. The animation style honors the classic cartoons that Charlie Brown fans cherish, while the timeless plot features enough of Snoopy’s antics to engage viewers. Familiar characters remain unchanged, each one fulfilling their timeless role.

The special opens with Snoopy as the Red Baron, accompanied by his sidekick Woodstock, transforming the doghouse into a plane as they soar through the skies. They dodge butterflies, and just as a threatening mountain appears, they crash into Charlie Brown, who carries a stack of cardboard boxes. Meanwhile, Sally and Charlie Brown gather items for their spring garage sale, prompting Snoopy to toss out items from his doghouse to contribute.

One by one, the Peanuts gang appears to rummage through the items. Sally remains focused on making money, while Charlie Brown feels nostalgic about his items and struggles to part with his treasures. Even when his friend Milo explains that his baseball team needs new equipment after losing a bat and using an oven mitt as a catcher’s glove, Charlie Brown cannot sell his box of baseball memorabilia.

Sally announces that everything must go, and the crowd eagerly buys every item at the garage sale, including Snoopy’s doghouse, which devastates him. Charlie Brown and Snoopy search for a new doghouse but find nothing can replace Snoopy’s cherished home. Armed with their sleuthing gear, the two detectives set off to track down the beloved doghouse. Will they solve the mystery?

SNOOPY PRESENTS: THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME, SNOOPY contains a strong moral worldview, emphasizing friendship, empathy, and helping those in need. The main message teaches that while houses hold significance, material things remain replaceable. The people you love transform a house into a home. The special contains light cartoon violence and moments of mild peril. Characters may express unkind words (Lucy wouldn’t be Lucy without calling someone a “blockhead”), but they ultimately display true friendship and apologize in the end.
