Tim and Demi Tebow are sharing their prayers for their daughter, Daphne.
“A wall of protection, by far,” Tim said in a video with the words “What we pray over our daughter” written on top of the clip. “A wall of protection over her mind, over her body, over her future. And ultimately, that she would grow up to know Jesus and make Jesus known, and always have the joy that she has now.”
Demi added, “I definitely pray the same thing every single day. And I also pray that the joy that she has will just — that [that] joy will just never be dimmed and that she will just never lose that, because that joy is so contagious.”
The Tebows welcomed Daphne last summer and recently celebrated her first birthday.

“Happy 1st Birthday to our girl. You bring so much joy into every single day,” the couple wrote in a joint post. “Watching you experience life makes our lives so much more colorful. We love you Daphne Reign!”
Last year, Demi shared some of the things she’s learned as a first-time mom with Parents — “No one warned me about the baby laundry!”
“When I drop my blanket on the floor, it just gets reused,” she explained. “But when I drop her blanket on the floor, it goes right into the wash, or the burp cloth, or the swaddles, or the onesies, and then you have a blowout. Sometimes there’s multiple outfit changes in a day. The baby laundry was a big surprise.”
Demi shared that she and Tim knew there were going to be a lot of unknowns going into parenthood, saying, “Before she was born, there’s a couple things that Tim and I realized, and one of the biggest things was we know nothing, and we are just going to be willing to be adaptable.”
She also shouted out her family and friends, who have been much appreciated as she and Tim navigate first-time parenthood.
“Knowing that you’re not alone in this season, and that there are people that want to be there for you, that love you, that care for you, that have your best interests,” Demi said. “Tim and I really focus on surrounding ourselves with a community of people that can do just that.”
Tim and Demi Tebow are putting faith and family at the forefront of their lives, making sure their daughter grows up in a wonderful, loving home with a relationship with Christ.
