Washington Commanders content creator Conner Perkins handed out as many “Jesus Won” bracelets as he could at training camp.
He shared a video on Instagram of players like quarterback Jayden Daniels and wide receiver Terry McLaurin receiving the bracelet.
“Facts,” Daniels said.
When McLaurin got his bracelet, he said, “Amen. It’s all about him. We do it for His glory. I appreciate that.”
“Amen right there,” cornerback Mike Sainristil echoed. “Yes sir.”
Kicker Tress Way even took a few extra bracelets for his kids.
Faith comes first for many of the Commanders players.

When the team sealed their first playoff berth since 2020, Daniels gave all the glory to God.
“Man, really nothing but God once again. Battling through adversity, you know, just blessed and highly favored for real,” he told NBC Sports in December 2024.
Tight end Zach Ertz agreed with the quarterback, saying, “First of all, glory to God, like Jayden said. It’s been a long couple of years, honestly. And being able to play with Jayden at the end of my career is such a blessing for me.”
For McLaurin, his NFL platform is the unique way he gets to serve God.
“I am thankful to serve a God who has granted me endless grace and mercy,” he wrote on social media after he renewed his contract in 2022. “He is the reason I am standing here today. Without Him, I do not know where I would be. I am excited to see what He has in store for me and how He will use my testimony for His goodness.”
McLaurin endured one of the hardest years of his life last year. If it weren’t for his faith in God, the wide receiver said he wouldn’t have made it through.
“This last year was the hardest year of my life — from the contract and getting hurt, and you know, I’ve been going through some stuff off the field, just personally,” McLaurin told The Athletic. “It’s been extremely challenging.”
“I’ve seen myself grow as a man, grow spiritually and grow as a teammate,” he reflected. “So I just feel like I’m in a great space. … I wouldn’t trade anything because it’s built me into the person I am right now, and I just feel like I’m playing with a type of freedom that I haven’t had. So I’m just looking forward to spilling that out for my team this year.”
As the Commanders take the field for the 2026 NFL season, they are ready for whatever may come their way because they know that Jesus has already won.
