Trinity Queen did not begin a yearlong challenge to share the gospel every day because she felt ready.
“I didn’t feel like I was an evangelist and I felt unequipped and, you know, scared in a lot of different areas,” Queen, an evangelist, influencer and speaker, admitted on the “Hey! It’s The Luskos” podcast last month.
Queen eventually accepted what she described as a call from the Lord, first completing the challenge and then beginning it again. She said she was on day 60 of the second challenge when the podcast episode was recorded.
“It’s completely literally changed my life. It’s changed the way that I live and my mindset on just my day-to-day life,” she said.
That daily commitment has taken her into ordinary places, including a 7-Eleven where a woman complimented a necklace Queen had received from her husband, Christian singer-songwriter Josiah Queen. Queen said she heard the words, “I want you to give her your necklace,” and initially resisted because the necklace was beautiful, sentimental and almost never left her neck.
“I knew I was supposed to give this woman my necklace,” Queen said.

She returned to the store expecting a dramatic spiritual moment. Instead, the woman accepted the necklace but told Queen she was uncomfortable talking about Jesus. Queen respected the boundary, then offered one final word.
“I just want you to know, every time someone compliments that necklace, just know that Jesus thinks you’re 10 times more beautiful,” Queen recalled telling her.
She said she cried in the car and later asked God why the encounter had affected her so deeply. The answer, as she described it, changed the way she understood rejection in evangelism.
“It really taught me it is not about us,” Queen said. “I’m just a vessel, you know, I’m just here. And I’m just allowing the Lord to use me.”
Josiah said his wife’s example has stretched him as an introvert. He explained that he once viewed her daily challenge as something only she could do, but he has learned to notice simple openings in airports, stores and other everyday places.
“God has put me in this place to love on these people,” Josiah said, describing the shift from feeling like he was performing for an audience to seeing ministry as an opportunity to love people.
The Queens’ conversation also touched on Josiah’s upcoming album, DAMASCUS ROAD, which is scheduled to arrive Oct. 23, 2026. His official tour page lists the arena tour planned for spring 2027.
But the heart of the episode was not a stage, a song or a major release. It was the reminder that faithfulness can look like a conversation at a checkout counter, a difficult rejection or the courage to try again the next day.
“It doesn’t have to be on a mission trip. Doesn’t have to be on a stage or on a podcast,” Trinity said. Josiah added, “We’re all called to do the work of the evangelists,” pointing to the everyday calling he sees in Scripture.
