It’s that special time of year again — Great American Media is kicking off its Christmas movie slate this October.
“This extraordinary season is the result of an exceptional team. I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together,” Bill Abbott, president and CEO of Great American Media, said in a statement. “We have brought together an incredible combination of stars, stories, production talent and creative excellence. I have never seen a Christmas slate with this kind of range, from romantic comedies and compelling dramas to powerful journeys of faith, all brought to life through unforgettable characters and exceptional storytelling.”
The Great American Christmas celebration includes 18 new movies from the network, starring favorite actors like Candace Cameron Bure, Mario Lopez, Danica McKellar and many more.
“The older I get, the more Christmas becomes more about time with family and friends,” Lopez told PEOPLE earlier this summer of the upcoming THREE GENERATIONS, ONE CHRISTMAS. “Sharing the screen with Tony Danza was an honor, and getting to make those memories alongside my son Dominic — and having my wife Courtney sing a Christmas song — made it all the more special and fun.”
Other movies include A VERY ARCTIC CHRISTMAS (Jill Wagner, Cameron Mathison), THE CHRISTMAS YES LIST (McKellar, Sam Page), LETTERS THIS CHRISTMAS (Ashley Newbrough, Jesse Hutch) and the third installment in Bure and Mathison’s SWEET CHRISTMAS series, A SWEET CHRISTMAS ANNIVERSARY.

The holiday movie celebration kicks off with A SECOND CHANCE CHRISTMAS, starring Bure and Jonathan Scarfe.
“[The movie] is about marriage, family, and the beauty of second chances,” Bure told Us Weekly. “It asks the question: what if you could have a do-over — but this time with maturity, faith, and a deeper understanding of who you are and who God is at the center of it all?”
She continued, “Christmas movies are evolving for me. They’re not just about a big-city girl meeting a small-town boyfriend anymore. With [my production company] CandyRock Entertainment, we’re passionate about creating stories that carry meaning, purpose, and hope — stories that remind people it’s never too late for redemption, healing, and love.”
“Candace Cameron Bure has an extraordinary instinct for stories that uplift, inspire, and reflect the enduring values of faith,” Abbott said in a press release. “She not only understands our audience, but she also champions them. Her commitment to quality storytelling continues to set the standard for what Great American Christmas is all about.”
Great American Media’s Christmas movie lineup kicks off Oct. 8.
