Actress Candace Cameron Bure traded the camera for handshakes and hugs on her eight-city fall tour, meeting viewers face-to-face while speaking plainly about the faith that guides her.

“Whether someone’s ready for it or not, I’m not going to stop sharing the gospel,” Bure told ChurchLeaders during a tour stop in Dayton, Ohio.

She spoke with ChurchLeaders on Sept. 10, the second night of her tour. Her eight-city run began Sept. 9 in Reading, Pennsylvania, and wrapped Sept. 19 in Austin, Texas. The event paired personal stories, games and conversations rooted in faith.

“I love relationship. I love community,” Bure said. She explained that the 2025 tour gave her what she had hoped for, so adding more dates this year was an easy yes.

“This is a way for me to be with you in person and get to hear from you,” she said. For a performer viewers usually meet through a screen, the road offered a chance to listen as well as speak. Fans could share their own stories, too.

That face-to-face warmth sits alongside a clear sense of Christian mission. Bure, Great American Media’s chief creative officer, has long connected her entertainment work with faith and family.

“It does make it more exciting when you see a generation that’s hungry for it and wants it,” Bure said of sharing Jesus with younger people. She said some seem ready to return to the basics — what has endured and made a genuine difference in people’s lives — rather than chase fast technology and instant gratification.

Bure presented that spiritual hunger as something she has observed, not a sweeping claim about every young person. Her own commitment, however, left no room for ambiguity: cultural receptiveness may change, but her resolve to share the Gospel will not.

“I’m in my grandma era, okay? So, I’ve even got my baggy clothes on. I’m just trying to look like Gen Z, but I’m clearly Gen X just faking my way through the world with it,” she joked.

Her daughter Natasha Bure Perry and son Lev Bure are both expecting their first child with their spouses.

“It’s the best news ever. I’ve been waiting for this day for so long,” Bure said. She looked forward to welcoming two little ones and felt grateful that her children lived fairly close.

Like the rest of Bure’s career, what she hopes to leave is not a résumé or money, but passing down God’s Word and watching her children live out their faith.

“God calls us to unity. God gives us all different gifts. We’re to work together in unity,” Bure said.

Her tour may have closed, but its through line remains: real community creates room for laughter, family stories and a direct invitation to Jesus.
