VEGGIETALES IN THE HOUSE

VEGGIETALES IN THE HOUSE is a spinoff of the original VEGGIETALES and follows Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber. Every episode has two mini episodes within it and is filled with silly songs as the Veggies embark on new adventures throughout the house. This children’s comedy stays true to VeggieTales’ roots, weaving biblical content and scriptures in with life lessons and moral messages.
VEGGIETALES IN THE HOUSE is aimed toward younger children, but it can be enjoyed by viewers of all ages. Like most shows for younger children, the storylines are usually very simple and contain many gaps and logic in the plot. However, usually the moral message is clear within the story. VEGGIETALES IN THE HOUSE ends almost every episode by Bob and Larry saying “Remember kids, God made you special, and He loves you very much.”
There is no continuing storyline. All 11-minute mini segments stand by themselves as short stories. Unlike many of the original VeggieTales, these episodes are not based on Biblical stories like David and Goliath.
VEGGIETALES IN THE HOUSE follows the everyday happenings of Bob and Larry in their kitchen life. For example, one episode is about Larry and Petunia wanting to get a puppy and working so they have enough money to buy food and supplies for the puppy. The program rephrases the same sentence many different ways because it’s aimed at younger children. VEGGIETALES IN THE HOUSE is a good way to expose young children to Scripture and biblical principles.
