GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE: Episodes 10.1 to 10.3

GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE is a fun children’s series on Netflix that mixes animation and live-action scenes. Each episode revolves around Gabby and her group of cat friends, all of whom live in her magical dollhouse, where each room contains a new adventure. In the first three episodes of Season 10, Gabby and her cat friends celebrate a birthday, meet a new friend and use a magic wishing well to have fun in the dollhouse.
In Episode One, Gabby and the cats are preparing to celebrate Gabby’s birthday. CatRat has been put in charge of planning the party. He thinks the task will be easy, because he has the use of a “party tail” that changes the dollhouse’s party room into the perfect party for any theme. However, things get complicated when Gabby moves through the dollhouse and has fun with different themes, like pirates and safaris. CatRat scrambles to keep changing the party room as Gabby’s interests change. Will he be able to throw her the perfect birthday party?
Episode Two introduces Gabby and the rest of the cats to a new friend, Marty the Party Cat. He shows off his skills, including sucking the color out of things when he gets surprised and making magical balloon monsters. Gabby and the cats have fun playing with Marty and ask him to move into the dollhouse’s party room.
In Episode Three, Gabby is given a magic wishing well and some coins. She brings the well and coins to the dollhouse, where each cat gets to make a wish. The friends have a series of fun adventures, like getting transported to the Land of Cake, filling the bathroom with water, and turning the craft room into a giant coloring book. However, when CatRat makes a wish to swing on the stars, Gabby and the rest of the cats have to save him after the wish runs out and he gets stuck on the stars.
The first three episodes of GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE: Season 10 are enjoyable, whimsical and funny. They also have a strong moral worldview. For example, episode storylines revolve around loving your friends, being kind, doing nice things for each other, and being creative. There are some questionable elements, however. For example, fantasy magic allows Gabby to become an animated character and join the animated cats in the magical dollhouse. All the cats talk as well. Finally, the first three episodes of Season 10 have magic-heavy stories. There’s a magical “party tail” to create Gabby’s perfect party, Marty’s magical party powers, and a magical wishing well. However, GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE doesn’t have any foul language, disturbing violence, or other immorality.
