BLIPPI: Season 5: Episodes 1-3
Colorful, kind, and educational — a safe delight for little ones.
Should You Watch It?
Blippi has built an empire on a simple formula: a silly, endlessly enthusiastic guide who turns everyday curiosity into a lesson. These first three episodes of Season Five keep that formula humming. Your kids will watch Blippi and his friend Meekah tour NASA's Johnson Space Center, dive into a fifty-thousand-ball ball pit, and shrink down to explore a rainforest — and along the way, they'll absorb lessons on colors, counting, and gentleness with animals.
The only real ding is technical, not moral: the visual effects in Episode 3, where Blippi shrinks into his tiny "Blippi Mobile," look extremely fake. It won't bother a four-year-old, but sharp-eyed parents will notice.
There's nothing to guard against here and plenty to appreciate. This one is worth watching.
The Story
NO SPOILERS — WE KEEP THE SURPRISESBlippi and his best friend Meekah explore the world one curious adventure at a time. In these three episodes, that means a trip to NASA's Johnson Space Center to learn about astronauts and moon rocks, a round of inflatable games and a ball-pit candy party, and a shrunken-down journey through the rainforest in search of frogs, dinosaurs, and a toy shark's missing teeth.
Is It Any Good?
Three stars means this is solid, dependable children's programming with one visible flaw. The episodes are colorful, interactive, and clearly built to teach — Blippi's NASA interviews, his counting games in the ball pit, and his gentle handling of the rainforest's creatures all land as intended. Children practicing letters, numbers, and colors will find plenty to engage with.
The weak spot is craft, not content: the "Blippi Mobile" flying sequence in Episode 3 looks extremely fake, a rare visible seam in an otherwise polished production. It's a small blemish on a show that otherwise does exactly what it sets out to do.
The Worldview
This is a show that exalts kindness. Blippi and Meekah treat every encounter — with a NASA scientist, a frog, a toy shark — as an opportunity to be gentle, curious, and generous with their attention. That's a moral posture worth reinforcing in young viewers, and the show reinforces it consistently across all three episodes.
The one wrinkle worth naming: in Episode 3, Blippi "shrinks down" to fit into his tiny vehicle. The word "magic" never appears, and the moment plays as silly make-believe rather than anything occult or supernatural — but parents of very young or sensitive children may want to know it's there.
Beyond that, there's little to correct and much to affirm. A show that teaches children to be kind and gentle with the world around them, including its smallest and strangest creatures, echoes a truth Scripture prizes highly: "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves" (Philippians 2:3).

Blippi's fifth season keeps doing what Blippi does best: turning curiosity into a lesson and kindness into the point of the story. A shaky special effect in Episode 3 is the only real blemish on three episodes your youngest kids will likely ask to watch again. Our answer: worth watching.
