What You Need To Know

“Adventure” follows the ADVENTURES OF PUSS IN BOOTS as he realizes he’s become bored in San Lorenzo due to the lack of the action and adventure he once had. Dulcinea worries Puss may leave, so she plans with the orphans to prepare a special surprise for Puss to show their gratitude. Meanwhile, an old friend from Puss’ past, Jack, appears and entices Puss with the idea of a new adventure. Dulcinea feels an odd emotion toward this Jack person. She learns this emotion is dislike but is shocked because she likes everybody. Puss and Jack embark on a little adventure. However, Puss learns that Jack was just using him for his skills in order to steal a treasure.

“Adventure” is an engaging and nicely told episode that portrays the hero’s newfound realization toward true friendship. Dulcinea’s character is further developed as she discovers her angry side. This was a very vital step to take because her character appeared very flat and stereotypical the last four episodes. “Adventure” has some humorous and touching moments, with a strong moral worldview containing positive redemptive elements.
